Who builds Kufu
Kufu is Jens Téblick's one-person practice. This page is about what he built before and alongside it — not in numbers, but in the kind of work and systems.
The name comes from the Japanese 工夫 (kufū): the practical resourcefulness to find a clever way around a concrete problem. Not innovation in the grand sense of the word, but the small, resourceful, hands-on kind.
Before Kufu
Before Kufu, Jens Téblick founded InterHost Solutions, a web hosting company. That grew into Lemon Live and was sold to a third party in september 2020; he has had no involvement with the company since the sale.
The software company from the same group, Lemon, still exists today. He was CTO there for 5 years: responsible for the technical side — building, hosting and running software and applications in production.
Alongside Kufu: Veton
After that he co-founded Veton, a company that builds EV charging stations.
At Veton he still builds and maintains: the firmware that runs on the charging stations themselves, the cloud platform behind it, the mobile app users control their charger with, and the link to the ERP system. Systems that run in production today, not in a test environment.
He is the inventor of Belgian patent BE 1032335 (application BE2024/5020), granted on 18 augustus 2025 and registered with the FOD Economie, for "Component voor een elektrische laadinrichting voor elektrische voertuigen" — held by Veton, not in his own name.
What that means for Kufu
The same way of working — building it himself, putting it into production himself, making it run himself — carries over into every Kufu engagement. Not advice that stays on paper, but something that's genuinely running by the time he leaves.
